Paintball
I ran up to grab the bomb from the fence and ran super fast to one of the walls and then hid there and waited for a while. After I decided to run to throw the bomb.So I did just that. As soon as I threw the bomb I got hit by bayden then everyone shot me in the leg then someone shot Through my mask into my mouth. it was revolting, it made me gag it smelled like pain I could hear paintballs flying straight past me. Unfortunately i didn’t get that pointso we lost that round
today i went to golf day i had to preform in front of 100 people it was me and the rest of the band i had to sing superstition and small after we got to have some food and i had like 50 soshig rolls and we got free drinks because we are in the band and that was my preforms at golf

What is the story about? This book is about a boy called Sam who runs away from his home in New York city. He runs away to the catskills mountains. He wants to live off the land and has a pen knife, a flint, a ball of string, an axe and $40. He steals a baby falcon and it grows up to hunt food.
Setting The catskill mountains had belonged to the Gribley family and was the Gribley farm of his great grandfather. The mountains are thick bush with poplar trees and he burns the inside of an old tree to make his house in. There are lots of rivers and streams with ponds to catch trout, freshwater crayfish and mussels.
Main Character Sam Gribley is a teenage boy who is brave and knows how to fish, make a fire and make traps to catch stuff.
Reflection I think this book is very interesting and it taught me a bit more about survival.
Recommendation People that like Adventure genre and living off the land.
Barry Crump
Today I am going to talk to you about a very famous New Zealand author called Barry Crump.
Barry crump was born 15 may 1935 at Papatoetoe Auckland

He’s Parents were share milkers, and his father
was regularly violent to his wife and children. Barry Crump worked for many years as a government deer culler in areas of New Zealand native forest. He wrote his first novel, A Good Keen Man, in 1960, based on his experiences as a government hunter.
Ivan, Martin, Stephen, Harry, Erik and Lyall are all Barry Crump’s children born to five mothers. William Crump was his father, Lily Hendery was his mother.
Barry Crump died on 3rd of July 1996 At the age of 61 surrounded by his family at Tauranga hospital after suffering from a heart attack. Did you know that ?

The movie was called Hunt for the Wilderpeople. It is about a man Chase through New Zealand bush.

Stolen boat blues
One dark knight Oscar was cooking dinner for Jack and himself. Oscar was cooking a roast lamb, they had just set up for dinner. Jack heard a window break through the back of the house.
Oscar realized the robber was taking the boat keys and trying to steal the boat. Jack quickly ran out the front door, he told Oscar there was a red Toyota Hilux in their driveway, and he told Oscar to call the police because they will try to take the boat. Jack tried to distract the robbers so they wouldn’t steal the boat. Oscar wanted to get payback on the two robbers. Jack told Oscar that he had some pink spray paint In his wardrobe and to spray it all over one of the robbers, “do you know when the police are coming?” said Oscar. “In 2 minutes from now” said Jack. “we’ll just wait for the police to come” as they keep eating dinner they heard the police arrive, they knocked on the front door and then we told the policeman the Two rubbers were around the back trying to steal our boat the other policeman went to the back of our house with a taser and tasted the robbers the policeman put them in handcuffs and took them to jail.Jack and Oscar got given the red Toyota Hilux from the police.

DAY 1
Me and Riley were flying in a plane across the South Island bush. I was listening to music and Riley was sleeping. Then all of a sudden a Voice over the intercom said to get some parachutes and jump. me and Riley grabbed two parachutes and grabbed our pig dog Rosie.
We harnessed ourselves first then harnessed Rosie to me. Me and Riley grabbed the survival pack which had 2 Machetes, 2 Axes,Spade,Flint and steel,First aid kit, 2 sleeping bags and pots and pans. we Also had our belts with our Pig sticking knives And our pocket knives Also had the 22 And 47 bullets. I saw my compound bow sitting there so I grabbed it before we jumped it Had 5 arrows in the holder on it and I grabbed the rest of the arrows so that made 8 arrows altogether.
We Jumped out the cockpit door and we Got about 30 meters down and then we pulled our parachutes. Then half an hour later when we reached the ground we landed in some trees. That first night we built a small hut out of some branches and we built a fire. We slept that night in our Sleeping bags.
DAY 2 Early in the morning me and Riley got up. Riley went and searched for water and I went in search of the plane as well as food.
In 20 minutes Riley had found near a stream Flowing with pretty fresh water that might have had bacteria so he boiled it when he got back.
Meanwhile I was looking for the plane when I saw a rabbit on a perch I shot it with the bow straight through the head Just as I was getting it I saw the plane 70 meters away Nothing left but scrap metal and some other burnt stuff. I grab some of them sharp metal back at the camp maybe I could make a spear or something i was about to walk away I saw something poking out of the middle of the plane it was the Rifle that I was looking at while we were flying A man held it at the side of the set next to me. I made my way through the scrap metal until I could just reach it then I saw some bullets it was even better I had about 37 bullets in a little pouch plus it was a 308.
I brought it back to the camp Riley was shocked when he saw me coming I told him what happened And how I found the gun and the plane.
While the water was cooling down Riley and me went over to the parachutes and where we landed We pull them down from The Tangled trees Only a few rip so we can use them for something There was plenty of rope we Drag it back to the camp anyway.
The hut was falling apart So me and Riley decided to make a bigger and stronger one It took us about 5 to 6 hours it Was getting dark so we Started to cook the rabbit that I shot.
DAY 3
The morning meant Riley sort of slept in first thing we relit the fire from last night.
After Me and Riley both agreed that we should probably shoot something with the rifle like a small deer or something.
After I went down to the small Creek to get some water I got sidetrack and started following it downstream It lead into a bigger stream Just as I was about to leave I saw a trout I tried to catch it but it slip away If I had my bow I would have been able to shot it easily but If I mist I would lose a good arrow. I would have to make another bow out of some rope and a bendy stick. Then I could make two or three arrows and then shoot some.
when I got back to Camp I told Riley that I found some trout down the Stream.I started to make my bow.
By about 1 O’clock in the afternoon I had finished my bow But I only had one arrow So I went down to the Stream where I saw the trout It took me about 15 minutes then I saw a nice one to shoot Just outside pulling my bow back ready to shoot I slipped on a rock And fell into the water it Scared the trout away In another 15 minutes I found a better one to shoot And I made sure I was stable and I wouldn’t fall then I shot it went straight into it then it flipped around in the water I jumped into grab it Held up in the air and climbed out of the water.
I got back to camp Riley was glad that I had shot a nice eating fish.We cooked it up on the fire and Rosie caught a nice fat possum for herself. And then went to sleep.
DAY 4
I I woke up but Riley wasn’t there I remember him telling me that He would go shoot a fish in the morning for us to eat.
When Riley got back the fire was cranking he had shot a nice fish. We Put them on two sticks with a v at the top And a stick in between And then we turn them slowly till they crackle We Gobbled them up and gave the leftovers to Rosie.
The afternoon me and Riley thought we would try to go catch a small Pig with Rosie. We bought the 308 in case we saw something like a deer.
We looked around for about 3 hours and had no luck but On the way home we saw a rabbit Riley Lined it up and shot it with the 308. it Pretty much blew it’s whole head off.
We cooked it up on the fire We gave the guts to Rosie and went to sleep.
DAY 5 We heard a sound crashing through the bush Was 2 kids with a 22 and a 7 mil 08 they were walking towards us and we said what is your names they replied back my name is Cooper and Cayden we
Had 300 22 Bullets an 260 7 mil 08 bullets 1 pocket knife an a Sharpener with a Machete
can we stay with you guys?” We said yes. We made a bivouac at night while Cooper Went to shoot a fish down in the river with the 22 Bayden had a 223 with 76 bullets
DAY 6
Cooper said he was going to get some water from the ner by creek. We have a big day ahead of us I’ll get rose ready and the bags. Ready to go. Yup lets go up that hill and see were we want to go. OK.
Day 7
As the sun slowly raised Taz, Relley, Baden and Cooper lazily woke up. So they decided to hunt with Rose so they put their hunting gear on. She took off straight away and five minutes later we could hear her barking. We thought it was a pig so we started running, then realised it was a possum.
This term our challenge is to read more books, whaea Sarah has set up a reading system in our table groups. If you read 30 books you get pizza, 40 books move, 50 books lemonade, 60 books fairy bread , 70 books muffle, 80 books Free time all day at the end of the term. So far I have red a magic finger and I am on the Twits It is one of my favourite books.
On Monday in my sewing tech class with Whaea Jorja I made a rubbish bag that sits on your gear stick in your car. First we Measured the area on the material. Next we cut the measured material. After that we flipped the material inside out and put pins where we wanted to sew. We turned the material inside out too sew because It will make it Messi on the inside but not on the outside. Finally I sewed it all together and sewed a green ribbon on for the handle.
I thought it was fun and I would like to do it again.

On monday me Jake, Neo, Liam, Ruby, Eli and Amiria Went to Mr Piard house to get his truck and traler And then went to my Farm to pick ropo. Mr torte us to cut ropo it took us one hour. It’s for the rough race in whangaroa and then and then came for lunch.
